THREADED-PART TOOLING
Plan threaded-part tooling around the thread specification, material and required assembly. For a part that cannot release by a simple straight pull, an unscrewing mold may provide a route to remove the molded thread while preserving its intended geometry.

Review how the part can be held while the threaded core or other mold element rotates. Mark surfaces where retention features, gate marks or ejection contact are restricted. Undercuts, thin walls and nearby features should be considered together with the thread.

Begin with a DFM review to identify release questions and proposed part changes. The mold design discussion should make the retention method, movement sequence and machine interfaces clear before construction is agreed.
